Spa Historic M1 Procar (Drivers: 6)Ranked
A little dip into something historic for our last race before Christmas, with a race around the clock! Older racing cars are not to everyone's taste, it's true... There's no downforce to speak of, it's just mechanical grip.. but there is always something you can learn from driving cars from yesteryear and the M1 Procar is no exception. Enjoying only two seasons in 1979 and 1980, coming to an end due to BMW's desire to become an engine supplier to Formula one, these cars were raced by such racing legends as Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, Carlos Reutemann, Alan Jones and Clay Regazzoni. Although we may be stretching the timeline a little, Spa 1993 is an apt circuit for these cars and features the much fabled original 'Bus Stop' chicane.. Approaching it for the first time, if you're not familiar, will come as a shock! Time acceleration will be on, the race will begin in the afternoon, progress through night, back to day.
